Yes. We work from their list, or we help them build one before we go. We know their preferences, check for their usual brands, avoid substitutions unless we call first, and bring everything home and put it away. For seniors who can't or don't want to leave the house, this is one of the most valuable things we do.
What happens if my parent has a bad day or seems confused during a visit?
We take it seriously and we tell you. Every visit ends with a written family update, and if we notice something concerning during a visit, like unusual confusion, signs of a fall, or anything out of the ordinary, we contact the family immediately. We are not medical professionals, but we are observant, consistent, and we communicate. That's exactly why the family update after every visit matters so much.
My parent lives alone and I worry about them between visits. Is there any between-visit support?
Yes. Depending on your plan, we offer phone and text check-ins between visits. The Companion Plan includes unlimited phone and text support Monday through Saturday. The Premier Plan covers 7 days. Even on the basic Check-In Plan, your parent can reach us during business hours. They are never completely on their own between visits.
Can you help my parent get to a doctor's appointment?
We don't drive clients ourselves, but we handle all the coordination so they don't have to figure it out alone. We call a taxi or rideshare on their behalf, confirm the pickup time, remind them of the appointment in advance, and follow up afterward to make sure everything went smoothly. The logistics are handled, they just have to be ready.
